Senior Leisure Assistant ( Internal Only )

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the Sports Centre, upholding high standards of customer service, health and safety, and operational compliance.

Responsibilities will include supervising swimming pool activities, overseeing the management and maintenance of the plant room in accordance with operational and safety procedures, and ensuring that leisure assistants, gym instructors and external instructors adhere to departmental operational procedures.

The postholder will also act as the designated person in charge during incidents, ensuring that all matters are managed promptly, appropriately and in line with the department's Emergency Action Plan procedures.
