Sign in Create an accountDo you have a background in lattice gauge theories, non-equilibrium physics or numerical simulations of quantum many-body systems? Would you like to further your career in one of the UK's leading research-intensive universities?
The project will involve the development of new theoretical and computational approaches for lattice gauge theories, both in and out of equilibrium. The focus areas of the project include many-body dynamics, ergodicity breaking, false-vacuum decay, and related topics. The project will also involve developing classical and quantum simulations of lattice gauge theories, in particular via exact diagonalisation, matrix product state and neural quantum state methods, as well as quantum simulations.
