Medicine Emergency and Critical Care Patient Care Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Patient Care Assistants to complement our busy Emergency, Critical Care and Medicine nursing teams. Both applicants will be integral to our dynamic team of vets, nurses and students that thrive under pressure and most of all have a passion for patient care.

These posts would suit a friendly team player who is hardworking, caring, and enthusiastic. Previous experience in an animal care environment is essential. An animal care qualification would be desirable, but it is not essential.

The role will involve maintaining infection control standards, patient handling, walking, grooming and feeding.

We are recruiting for 2 positions:

Full-time: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working either 2:30pm to 10:30pm or 3:30pm to 11:30pm.

Part-time: 28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, working either 2:30pm to 10:30pm or 3:30pm to 11:30pm.

Training and ongoing support will be provided.
