The successful candidate will work closely with the existing law subject team to help deliver innovative teaching across our range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We are specifically interested in candidates who would be able to lead and develop modules around land law. We would also particularly like to hear from applicants who are qualified as a solicitor with a current or recently held practising certificate.
You must be able to demonstrate a strong teaching profile and a proven commitment to the student experience, including supporting students' wellbeing. A PhD in a relevant subject is desirable, as is energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to playing a full and active role in the life of the school.
On 1 August 2026, the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent formed a pioneering new multi-university group called London and South-East (LASE) University Group. Should you join us, you will be employed by LASE but will work as part of the University of Greenwich academic division, contributing to its distinct strengths, community and identity while also being part of a wider group that brings together the scale, resilience and shared ambition of both universities.
Through LASE we aim to deliver outstanding education, impactful research, and meaningful regional and global impact.
Note: Under the UK Government Points Based System scheme this role does not meet the criteria to be sponsored for a Skilled Worker Route application.
We are committed to building a strong, diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, care leavers, disabled and LGBT+ people. As part of our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Time to Change Employer Pledge/Mentally Healthy Universities, we are committed to promoting and supporting the physical and mental health of all our staff, and removing barriers to improve inclusion.
