Interdisciplinary Research Professor

Leeds University Business School (LUBS) is seeking to appoint an outstanding Interdisciplinary Research Professor to help shape and strengthen interdisciplinary research across our key business disciplines. This is a unique opportunity for a world-leading academic to build research capacity, mentor colleagues, secure major research funding, and establish impactful collaborative research programmes spanning Marketing, International Business, Strategy, and Accounting & Finance.

This role is offered on a part time basis (0.5fte), fixed term for 3 years.

As Interdisciplinary Research Professor, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the School's research excellence by:

- Leading the development of world-class interdisciplinary research programmes.
- Producing and supporting high-quality research outputs published in leading international journals.
- Building collaborative research networks across disciplines and external partners.
- Securing external research funding and developing income-generating research activity.
- Mentoring and supporting early career academics and postgraduate researchers.
- Contributing to the strategic research leadership and development of the School.
- Enhancing research culture through seminars, masterclasses, public lectures, and research development initiatives.

We are looking for an established academic leader with:

- A PhD or equivalent research experience.
- An outstanding international research profile, including publications in elite journals such as FT50 and/or AJG 4* outlets.
- A proven track record of securing significant research funding.
- Experience of leading interdisciplinary research programmes and developing research capacity.
- Strong evidence of research leadership, collaboration, and mentoring.
- A commitment to research impact, innovation, and knowledge exchange.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
