This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a varied role, alongside staff and students to improve the student experience and support education administration.

Your duties will include providing administrative support for programme and quality assurance processes, coordinating and maintaining key information for students e.g. Moodle sites and handbooks. You will also coordinate local activities which focus on engaging with our students, building community, and improving their experience, including the coordination and servicing of Staff Student Forums (student feedback groups), coordinating student events such as welcome and induction, and drafting local student communications. You will contribute to projects supporting the education and student experience elements of the Faculty's Strategic Plan. You will work closely with our Education and Student Experience Managers, the wider Faculty Education and Student Experience team, as well as wider School administrative staff, academics, Professional Services colleagues and students.

This role could be suitable as a secondment opportunity, but permission should be sought from your current line manager.

Our team is friendly, inclusive and welcoming; we welcome applications from everyone and value the varied perspectives and experiences that a diverse team can bring.

You should be educated to A level or equivalent plus have experience of working in a relevant role. In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, IT skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will have experience of building strong working relationships with colleagues across an organisation and managing a high workload with competing demands.

What we offer:
- A friendly, diverse, and supportive working environment
- A hybrid working arrangement with the blended approach of home and office working each week
- Generous holiday entitlement of 27 days plus standard bank holidays and five university closure days including closure between Christmas and New Year
- Commitment to staff development through the provision of training, continued support, and career progression opportunities
- Access to a range of benefits and rewards, including fitness and health facilities, staff discounts, travel schemes and many more

Your working hours will be 36.25 hours per week. Job share arrangements may also be considered. Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.

This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only.
