Campus Support Supervisor - Internal Only

Reporting to the Campus Support Manager, you will play a key role in the operational management and delivery of the University's Campus Support service.

You will lead your shift team to deliver a safe, professional and customer-focused service, overseeing areas including student wellbeing, incident response, security, access control, parking, fire safety and the out-of-hours FM Helpdesk.

You will manage and develop your team, ensure incidents are responded to effectively, and support the implementation of policies, procedures and service improvements. Working with colleagues and external partners, you will help maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming campus environment.

Please note that this position is currently only open to Edge Hill University staff members within a substantive post.

About You

You will have significant experience in operational management within Facilities Management, Campus Support, Student Services or a similar environment, ideally with experience in incident management, student wellbeing, security, neighbourhood management or customer-focused services.

You will be a confident leader, able to manage, motivate and develop a team while maintaining high standards of performance and customer service. You will be comfortable making decisions, managing challenging situations and responding effectively to incidents in a fast-paced environment.

With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will build effective relationships with colleagues, students, customers and external partners. You will take a proactive approach to problem-solving and understand the importance of safety, security, wellbeing and risk management within a campus environment.

You will also have experience developing and implementing policies, procedures and effective working practices, with a commitment to continuous improvement. Above all, you will share our commitment to creating an inclusive, safe and welcoming campus and delivering an excellent experience for all.
